Successful cultivation of Darlingtonia californica in a hot climate via root zone chilling

Abstract
Maintenance of consistent cool root zone temperatures is the factor most critical for successful Darlingtonia californica cultivation. Darlingtonia plants grown semi-hydroponically with chilled water will tolerate ambient temperatures substantially warmer those grown conventionally.
